JHOANNA'S BIRTHDAY BASH

It was one of those Sundays that I wasn't able to show up for service in church due to a huge hangover I was feeling after entertaining former classmates, the night before. But an eating spree courtesy of a fellow member celebrating her birthday is just too hard to pass off!

The lovely and very talented Jhoanna threw a big birthday luncheon at her place! Lots of food was served, enough to accommodate MSC's BIG APPETITE for sure! Of course a party that involves a group of singers won't be complete without Karaoke!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JHOANNA!
Thank you for your love and service for MSC!
May you be blessed abundantly!

BRO. EDDIE VILLANUEVA VISITS HILARIO'S SIZZLERS RESTAURANT

On May, 2010, the future of our beloved country is at hand. The election fever has begun as early as February... Probably all the candidates on both local and national government are up and running to gain support from us, the voters in every way they can.

It is fortunate that one of the Presidential aspirants, Bro. Eddie Villanueva, under the Bangon Pilipinas Party has a place in Valenzuela where he could relax and enjoy the homey atmosphere of Hilario's Sizzlers Restaurant after a long, hot day of campaigning.

I would be a hipocrite if I will not attempt to at least help in his campaign for presidency through this blog. Many may or may not agree with my views about Bro. Eddie. Nonetheless, I encourage you, my MSC to choose someone who has genuine desire to restore this broken nation! And with the ever present help of the Lord above I believe, that through Bro. Eddie, God will make us yet again, witnesses of His divine wonders!

LEO AND GIGIE'S SUMMER HOMECOMING

Lookie here!

Leo and Gigie (Ibayan), the ever loved BASS-ALTO loving tandem of MSC is here in the Philippines after a long time of working their a** off in the United Kingdom!

We used to go out on a LOT of trips and gimmicks in the past and none of those is left unremembered indeed. They are such great company! I wish the younglings get to experience being around these two while they can! Limited offer only. (ahaha!)

Welcome home, friends and we look forward for a lot of gatherings and fellowships with you and MSC during your limited holiday stay!

JAYPEE'S DAY

Another one of the younglings of MSC recently celebrated his birthday on the 9th of March...

Certainly, these younglings are verging on becoming real adults in the group in no time at all! Soon, all the veterans will be run over by these future MSC leaders!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JAYPEE!!!
God bless you and may you find in your heart the true meaning of service and committment the same way your seniors discovered it, themselves!!! May you be successful on all your endeavors!

HIDING TITA

I wonder where Ate Lulu is right now! After weeks and weeks of not showing up during the masses and practices, Im starting to get worried and paranoid...

She used to be one of the most active members of MSC. She not only participates within the group but outside as well serving as our emmisary and ambassador of  goodwill to the other choral organizations under our parish. Things changed quite a bit the time she was blessed with Julliana, her daughter...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, TITA LULU!!!

You may not be always present but I know for sure that you always keep MSC in your heart nad mind!
We miss you!

(My apologies for I couldn't find a solo photo of Tita Lulu in my files.)

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY MSCBEYOND BLOGSITE!!!

The very first attempt I did to post a blog happened on the 25th of February, 2009 which was also the Birthday of incumbent MSC President Annalyn Amorin. A year has passed and this blogsite still exists and continues to grow with a lot of new entries! I believe that somehow, this blogsite enables the members who are now living abroad or far away from Maysan to see what has been happening to their choir.

Many things have happend... Lots of losing and gaining friends and co-members, happy and sad moments... the unending contrasts in our lives. Things that I would have documented more if only I could... Nonetheless, I hope this would serve even more to the others whom have not yet discovered that such a collective "dairy" of old and new friends exists in the virtual world.

Thank you dear readers and subscribers. God bless you more!!!

MSC-- DAMPA @ FARMERS REVISITED

(Odessa, Adie and Cocoy, birthday girls)

On a very warm Sunday morning, 21st of February came the very first fun-filled trip of MSC. The members were in high spirits after our service! On board a Kia Van, MSC went straight to the ever famous Dampa @ Farmer's Market in Cubao, Quezon City. This trip was intended to celebrate the birthdays of three lovely ladies of MSC namely Odessa Oba (Alto), Glady Mendiola (Soprano) and MSC President, Analyn Amorin all celebrants of February.

As always, we rented a function room with a Karaoke machine for entertainment while the elders of the group (including me) buy our ingredients from the market then have a resto in that area cook them for us. The event was a full house and everyone enjoyed.
It was a great day.

Thank you, celebrants for the wonderful and memorable treat!!!

GLENN IN AUSTRALIA

During my recent browsing in Facebook, I was surprised to find a set of pics wherein Glenn Foronda (TENOR) currently living in Singapore had an opportunity to go to the Land down under, Australia! He had a chance as well to reunite with co-MSC member and good friend, Bhing Mondido (ALTO). There is no doubt that these two had a great time frolicking in the wonderful places that OZ could offer!

I wonder... Would there be a moment that all MSC members, old and new be at one place at the same time again?... Just a thought...
