JAYVEE'S BIRTHDAY

Today, 14th of April, is Jayvee's birthday (after hundreds of entries on this site, I think this is the first time I made a birthday blog on the exact date! Whew!).

We had rehearsals just now intended for the coming Palm Sunday (Apr. 17). But the birthday boy was a "no-show"! Apparently the whole team was expecting a large wave of delicious food from Jayvee but it didn't happen tonight. Oh well.

We wish you Happiness and Success on all your endeavors!

JP'S BIRTHDAY

It was just now that I realized how long it has been since my last blog entry. I had a lot of things going on and hadn't the luxury of time to be creative with my outpour of thoughts.

Just recently, MSC President, Jann Paul Cruz celebrated his birthday on the 9th of March. Since he had no time to organize a party for himself, because of his erratic schedule at Crown Plaza Hotel, his choirmates decided to have an after-practice celebration at my place instead. 

Throwing a party may not be always as posh and extravagant... It can be just a simple gathering of loveones celebrating Life! 

Continue to be a blessing to others!

THE MSC BLOG BANNER AND AMERICAN IDOL

I've been maintaining this blog site for the past two years and I've never been so proud of this banner that I've created which is American Idol inspired (don't want to really copy the whole thing!).  This is due to my following to the latest season of American Idol. Last time I got so obsessed with AI was during David Cook's season.

Weird enough, this obsession wasn't actually about any particular contestant but because of Idol's new roster of judges. Yes, Simon Cowell was a big loss for Idol but the thing is, I'm actually appreciating Steven Tyler's critique in the competition. I know he had his share of naughtiness in the past as a wild rockin' musician. And for sure his reputation wasn't at all that perfect. But because of his long time experience in the music industry, plus the fact that he did a lot of real great songs, his comments somehow show me of his well earned respect and credibility!  

Hopefully, I did justice to the banner. So there.  

SUMMER GOAL

So how can a person this BIG ↑, 

be this ↓???

Is there some kind of drug or fitness regimen to achieve this kind of a makeover? Summer 2011 is just around the corner and I've been slaving away with the painstaking daily jogging at the nearby private cemetery but I haven't really appreciated BIG results! I don't want to have another appoinment to Mr. Adobe Photoshop to edit away those bulges that undeniably register on the pics.  But I'm happy that whatever Cha-cha (BASS) is doing... he's certainly on the right track! 

SPOTTED: NIÑO ZAREN'S 1st BIRTHDAY PARTY

Niño Zaren, unico hijo of soprano Meanne, celebrated his 1st birthday at their place in Paso de Blas, Valenzuela on 12-February, 2011.

It was a party that was attended by many of Meanne and Don's friends. MSC was there too. Sadly, there wasn't as many members who came out to party. Ever loyal and Godfather of Niño Zaren, Tito Boyet and Charles (BASS) were the only ones to come. Nonetheless, according to them, the party was a blast!
